I have posted this same question on the linksys forums, but have not received a response yet.
I recently bought this router and the wired computer has no problems. I have the WUSB11v4 usb network adapter on this other computer, and I can access the internet and download stuff, but none of my applications can get to the net. Winamp, adobe, adaware, etc..can not access the net to update themselves, etc.. Hope I am explaining that correctly. I have windows firewall off, and I even turned off the SPI firewall within the router and still did not get any results. Can the "N" router work with the "B" adapter properly? I have not read anything otherwise, but thinking that if I got a "N" adapter maybe this would go away. Thanks.

I'm running Firefox 3.0.6. I double checked the security settings, and application tabs. Nothing obvious to me as to why this is happening. I do not have any other firewalls setup, nor antivirus running.

I wouldn't expect IE or Firefox settings to have any affect on other applications. If the computer has access to the LAN and the internet, then the apps should be able to function. I've noticed that items such as the daily AVG update, which are almost instantaneous on my PC's (using CAT5), take several minutes using wireless on her Vista laptop. That observation aside, I would suspect that something is blocking the traffic. To further isolate the issue, I'd suggest connecting the PC via cable. If the problem continues, you have a config issue. Otherwise, you have a wireless or router issue.
