Now, I know that in order to view subtitles you need to use the VMR7 or 9 output in MPC. I have selected these two modes, and I have my TV as the secondary device. The subtitles show fine on the computer, but not my TV (you can't see them, even though the video is output fine). I have tried this both in clone and dual view mode, with the same error. I can get them to be displayed with other programs such as Kmplayer and VLC, but this is no good as I need MPC to get DXVA working with the cyberlink codec. I'm playing X264 MKV files with the subs included in the container, ASS, Srt, and even AVI files with SRT/IDX/SUB. DirectVOBsub also works fine, but again, it won't work with DXVA.
Is there anything I can do to get subs displayed on my TV as well as the primary device? I would really like to be able to get DXVA working with subtitled material.
Thanks
