  1. Hi people,

    i will buy this sort of thing to capture few old VHS tape


    but i dont know which software (with noise réduction, de-interlaced and so on option)to use... to import and convert into a mpg4 / H264

    thx people...

    I don't wish to be rude, but that's a toy, man. I don't think you'll be please with the result.

    There are a couple of threads currently in progress where some better capture hardware is discussed. I believe you'd be better served to read through those and take the recommendations to heart.

    As for conversion software, it all depends on what you want to do. Different tools do different things.

    Keep in mind, you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, i.e. crumby capture hardware will lead to crumby captures and the best software in the world won't change that.

    You don't get a quality capture for $15 (unless you have a mate who will do it properly for you for $15 worth or beer)
