  1. What are the procedure to backup Blu-ray movies?

Do you use dvd-9 or dvd-5 blanks? Software? What type of burner?

I own these two burners; which one is a HD & blu Ray player

    Samsung SH-S223Q
    dvd player and dvd burner

    and

    LG GGC-H20L 16X Blu-ray/HD DVD drive
Supports: dual-layer DVD capability, LightScribe creativity, and LG quality. The drive connects via SATA. In dual-layer mode, you'll be able to write 8.5 GB of data to one dual-layer DVD, in DVD±R mode, you'll get 16X write speed, and you can play and burn HD DVD and play Blu-Ray media!

Are there any recent opinions on the bugs / functionality of BDRebuilder? The review comments indicate various problems. It looks like a nice utility to have if it runs OK and yields good discs.

  4. Baldrick -

If I do these steps and I want to burn w/ imgburn, do I use dual layer / double layer dvd r's?

Also, how long does it take to RIP then shrink a full blu-ray movie?
    I have a 5200+ Dual core processor w/ 2gb ram w/ 9800gt card (if this even matters).

    Thanks
