Sorry if this has been asked before, but Im having a problem using mkvextract. When I choose the video track I get a message that says "New Format Detected. (V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC) is an unknown format for mkvextractgui, so please, writet the output extension that will be associated to this type of tracks." I dont know what extension to enter. Ive tried a few different extensions and it always says video extracted, but there is never any file. I have the CoreAVC pro codec installed, is this an acceptable codec? Do I need to put anything in the mkvextract directory?

Are you sure you're using the latest versions of mkvtoolnix and MKVExtractGUI, and that both are installed to the same directory?
