how can i select "parts" of a movie to encode only using megui

I want to know how i can take a 2 hour movie and make an encode of about 5 minutes of it, just so i can sample the different settings and see what i like.


i dont see this option in megui, can anyone tell me where i can set this?

add a line at the end of the script like this:

trim(5000,15000)

If you want to visually do it, use the avs cutter in megui in the tools menu

(it's basically the same thing as using trim() in avisynth)

or you can edit your script with AvsP to view

You can use Mkvmerge and enable splitting in the Global tab.
