I spent lots of time getting TMPGEnc to work without jumpy video or any video, then played with the settings, learned how to set the start frame and end frame, learned about the batch process and thought I had this part down to where I could do a test burn. Then when adding the 3rd file to a batch, TMP decides it does not like VOB files. It took the file from the same movie and the file in question plays fine in PowerDVD, so what gives. I am converting to MPEG2 using the VPI(?) converter for files Ripped using a very old ripper (has the long history file attached).
Any ideas? Sorry if this has been asked but I read 15 pages without seeing this question.
Thanks Greg![]()

Are you opening the Vobs in TMPG?

Why are you not using DVD2AVI ? load your VOB's in it, and select Save Project, this will create a D2V and WAV files, which you can load into TMPGEnc, instead of loading a VOB at a time.
