    Hi,

I have 2 DVDs. I need these merged into one. However I also need:
    1) to cut DVD #1, I only need second half
    2) to replace audio on DVD #2 with this .wav I created (same length as the DVD, DVD #2)

The .wav is PCM Linear 48KHz 192Kbps

    What tools do I need?

I tried using DVD Lab Pro but I can't get the program to "omit" the first half of DVD #1.
I also used VirtualDub to convert the VOB to AVI.
I then tried using AVIs on SVCD2DVD but it does not let me replace the audio (on DVD #2).

I'm all confused. I need ONE software that does all these... sigh I'm so inexperienced.

    Any help?

    Thanks.

If you have WAV audio, it's definitely NOT at 192 Kbps. That's the bit rate of your source prior to conversion to WAV. Do note that WAV files are gigantic, so you're probably going to have space issues when you make this replacement unless you're willing to burn to dual layer media.

My suggestion on how to do it.
    1) Rip original 2 DVDs to hard drive. Set ripper to output one gigantic VOB file for each DVD.
    2) Edit first VOB file where you want, save.
    3) Edit 2nd VOB file where you want. Save. Demux into separate audio and video streams. Replace audio and remux.
    4) Combine VOBs into one file.
    5) Author and burn.

I would not recommend any of the programs you listed for editing. They're not free, but VideoReDo and MPEGVCR work well for editing. I personally find MPEGVCR easier to use for demuxing/remuxing. You can download it and try before you buy.
