Any good editor, or Virtualdub with an appropriate avisynth script.

What software do you have available to you at the moment ?

Nothing really, have used Premiere and Vegas but didn't see a way to do it in either. Wasn't really looking to do it with scripting. Hoping I could drop a second video in a window and resize window as needed or something.

Are you looking for picture in picture(PIP)? Vegas can do it. You have to use the event/crop of the video you want to make smaller (The event/crop will be at the end of the video - hover your mouse over the box and click). And then you have to resize the box bigger than the picture. The smaller picture video will have to be above the 2nd video on the timeline so that it will show up.

    Vegas - very simple.

Drop the clip you want as the small insert on the top timeline.
Drop the main clip on the second timeline.
On the first timeline, click on Track Motion, and adjust the size and position of the screen until it is what you need, then render the new clip

Gunslinger, your the man. I never knew, but I'm not much of a video person either. Worked exactly as I wanted. Thanks!
