  1. I recorded a tape to DVDR with the Samsung VR330. The recording was present in the title manager but when I hit finalize it started finalizing and then suddenly ejected. When I put the disc back in it said "this disc cannot be played. please check the disc". Isobuster on my computer does not see the disc. It calls it a blank CD. Resetting the VR330 does nothing. It still says the disc cannot be played.

How is the player not able to play a disc that it recorded?

Any other solutions for recovering the data?

It must have been corrupted when it was finalizing. I've found that if a disc is corrupted during finalizing there is nothing I can do to be able to view the material that was on the disc before the corruption

There is a program (CDROLLER) that was inexpensive that I purchased on-line that recovered all the data from a disk that was not finalized.

  4. It did it again. It said that finalizing was complete but instead of going to the disc's menu screen, it ejected the disc. When I inserted the disc back in, it said the disc cannot be played. Is this a random thing or has the recorder had it.
