I recorded a tape to DVDR with the Samsung VR330. The recording was present in the title manager but when I hit finalize it started finalizing and then suddenly ejected. When I put the disc back in it said "this disc cannot be played. please check the disc". Isobuster on my computer does not see the disc. It calls it a blank CD. Resetting the VR330 does nothing. It still says the disc cannot be played.
How is the player not able to play a disc that it recorded?
Any other solutions for recovering the data?

It must have been corrupted when it was finalizing. I've found that if a disc is corrupted during finalizing there is nothing I can do to be able to view the material that was on the disc before the corruption

It did it again. It said that finalizing was complete but instead of going to the disc's menu screen, it ejected the disc. When I inserted the disc back in, it said the disc cannot be played. Is this a random thing or has the recorder had it.
