    Good evening.

I don't succed to record DVDs Memorex DVD+R in my LG GSA-4160B.
It reads everything, When recording it arrives at 100%, but in the window ( Nero8 - Nero Express ),
    it appears (+ or -):
"It wasn't possible to execute the end of the disk"
"It fails the actualization of PMA"
"The process of recording failed in 4x"

    Anybody can help me?

    Thank you and good bye.

Memorex DVDs are not good. See

Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden DVDs are always good. Sony may be very good or very bad, depending on which company makes the discs for Sony.

I often see this link being posted, as proof that CMC is terrible, unfortunately it's anecdotal evidence at best. CMC being 'Bad' would seem to be contradicted by Mitsubishi Chemicals' decision to have CMC manufacture the Verbatim brand. Philips, one of the pioneers of optical media and publisher of the disc book standards, also relies on CMC for their products as does HP. Would not the optical engineers at those companies have at least as much knowledge about true quality standards as burning enthusiasts with their $20 Lite-on scans. I would assume they have some rather sophisticated test equipment at their disposal.
