  1. The company I work for has lots of DVDs that need to be ripped an encoded for online streaming and we would like to outsource the work. Does anyone here know of any companies that do that, or where to look for companies that do that kind of thing? I tried searching Google, but I can't think of any good terms other than "outsource video encoding"... and most of the ones that came up look pretty shady. Is there an industry term for this that I could pop into Google?

  4. We're looking for hulu-like quality. Thanks for these recommendations. I'll check them out.

We'll have around 500 DVDs to process right out of the gate, and we'll constantly be adding more as time goes on.

  6. any chance you have the original source video rather than the dvd - mpeg-2? mpeg-2 to flv/mp4 isn't going to look quite as good.

here's a sample that it put up for a friend recently in HD on youtube.
