was using to capture on windows xp and everything goes right.
i moved to windows vista and now i having a problem.
i am using virtualdub with picvideo 3 for compression.
all the setting are the same from what i have on XP.
well, when i try to capture, almost anything i do on my computer result in frames droped\inserted and even if i'm not doing anything, it still give me sync problem.
i found some solution that i untick the "enable desktop composition" from the visual effect of vista.
it seems better now but playing any video on vlc look crappy now and get a preview of what i am capturing on virtualdub looks crappy too.
2 things:
1. on WMP any video looks fine although the "enable desktop composition" is untick.
2. crappy means that the video looks pixelate and the software (virtualdub\VLC) not smoothing it.
i would be thankful for your answers.
