    Yesterday I went into a store to compare prices but the owner said he didn't sell Samsungs at all because of their crappy quality. Do you guys know something about that? That Samsung cams should be of inferior quality?

    Cams? Be more specific.

    Samsung like other large companies leads in some product lines and lags or outsources other lines.

    In the video area, Samsung is at or near the top for LCD TV, plasma TV and computer monitors. They have had a somewhat odd different drummer history in camcorders and digital cameras.

    A friend install large numbers of new LCD's and samsungs are not the most reliable in his experience.
    PAL/NTSC problem solver.
    USED TO BE A UK Equipment owner., NOW FINISHED WITH VHS CONVERSIONS-THANKS
