    I am looking for a software that works in Vista that can capture closed caption from any tuner to a text file. Preferably that also recordes the video at the same time. I have seen some solutions here but they are for more technical people.

    Anyone see a simple software package that can do this? I tried a vista compatible ATI USB tuner card but the Vista software no longer supports extracting closed captioning.

    Please help...
