I am attempting to convert my library of DVDs into a back up format using a MacBook Pro with one of the new Matshita UJ-867 drives.
Two of my friend's have the same computer but older with different drives and can use either Visual Hub/Mac the Ripper/Handbrake.
However, when I attempt to use any of these to rip and convert the file or if I even try to watch a different region DVD using VLC the image comes out a total pixelated mess.
The converted file does the same.
It only seems to work with the region the drive is originally set to. You can change the drive region five times on a Mac but even when I have changed the region it will not convert the files without digital interference all over the place.
Do I have to flash the drive firmware? Or just give up?
Thanks for your help.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
