Greetings from Scotland
I've been having an on going problem trying to get a decent quality VCD using VCD Galaxy (won't go into the history here).
In any case I think I've managed to pin the problem down now and am looking for some advice on settings for TMPGEnc. I've been using the standard PAL VCD template (I live in the UK so thats OK), but the VCDs I've been producing are all slightly 'stuttery'. The quality of the landscapes, figures etc are all nice and clean and clear. Every few seconds though there is a momentary halt in the video - a slight jump if you will.
This is all very interesting Mr Cake could you get to the point. My point is that I suspect that I'm making nice clean (non blocky) looking VCDs at the price of having ones that are smooth. My question is how to a sacrifice some quality and make these VCDs smoother to watch.
I am not at all familiar with the software so I would really appreciate if someone could help me out.
Kind regards
CakeMix
