    Ok, I have a video that says its mp4 and AAC x264. Isn't that what the ps3 uses? I can't convert that file to anything... not even play it on my ps3 or convert it to dvd. Can anyone please help on how to solve this?

    What have you tried so far?

    Does it play in a software media player on the PC? e.g. SMPlayer, VLC, MPC ?

    PS3 doesn't support every kind of h264/aac. If your file was encoded with different specifications, it might not be supported

    What is your end goal?
