  1. Hi guys.

How can i set a specific subtitle to be shown by default?
can it be done without demuxing/remuxing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    thanks in advanced.

  2. I think this is more a function of the specific DVD player, not the authoring process

    (unless you meant forced subs...)

Some DVD authoring apps allow you to set this (GuiForDVDAuthor, e.g.).

Otherwise, after authoring the VIDEO_TS fileset you can edit them with PGCEdit.

    Just follow these instructions.

  5. It's not complicated. It just looks complicated. That guide covers all the possibilities. Once you've done it a couple of times it'll take all of about 15 seconds to do.

Meaning a re-authored movie. Right click on the title and use set default streams. BTW: Some rippers, especially in movie only mode, allow you to specify a stream to be on by default.
