    I was trying to extract VTS files form DVD using Isobuster.The first VTS file can not be extract. The software shows a message that tells us about corrupted file...Is any other chance to extract the VTS files? Thanks

  2. is it a commercial dvd? might be part of the protection scheme. try running it through dvdfabdecrypter first.

    If it is home made DVD, than use Explorer, OPEN DVD and copy/drag VIDEO_TS folder to a new place on your hard drive.

    Yeah I did it, but the first VTS and the third one, are not going to be copied to hard drive (corrupted file says) How to fix that?

  6. isobuster and cdroller are about the only decent programs to try to extract data from bad discs. you can try washing the disc with warm water and soap, and using a different dvd drive to check if yours isn't reading very well but there's not much hope. if the dye layer has deteriorated then it's just gone.

    Yea, I tried that, cleaning the DVD. But the message that I got, was "corrupted file". I am talking about VTS file, during copy proccess from DVd to HD.

  8. you can try to copy off just the vobs and make a new dvd if you can get them all off of the dvd.

    there are lots of files starting with vts on a dvd.
