I'm thinking of buying a Sony DAV-IS10 home theatre system, but I'm worried about the fact that Sony DVD players are notoriously sensitive to DVD copies - that is, they are less likely than many other brands to play copied discs. Anyone got any idea if this model will play all disc types?

It's not really a matter of the content, it's a media issue. Sony players are notorious for being very picky on the brands/types of media that they will play. So how well it works for you will depend on the brands of media that you have used.
