I have been trying to write an avi file back to my DV Camcorder. The problem is it seems to keep missing frames or jerking on the DV Tape
Initially the file was an mpeg2 file.
1) Using DVD 2 avi I split the mpeg into avi and mpa files [ using Microsoft mpeg4 recompression (no recompression was not available) Key Frame every 1, Crispness 75%, Frame rate 6000
2) Sychronised them together in Ulead Videostudio 5.0, everything up to there is fine, I even created a VCD with a mpeg1 file, no problem.
3) Writing avi to the DV Tape with a 9 GB (1/2 hour) avi file seems to cause a problem though, with jerky non smooth transitions.
Is the problem ram related, processor related or anything else.
I am using an Atholon 800 with 128mb of RAM with plenty of Hard Disk space available, using a JVC Mini DV Camcorder.
I have read the frame rate user guide
Can anybody advise me ????
Please let me know if I need to give more information
Thanks
