I am very new to video editing on Vegas 7 and although I have searched the help topics cannot find what I want to do.
I have family tape with someone speaking in the background unrelated to the video - I would like to reduce the volume of it. Is there a way to select just one peak in the audio track and 'reduce' it ? therefore making that section of sound mute or very low.
No one has yet replied to this question - perhaps I have not made it clear what I want to do.
I just can't find how to select a part of the audio track and then reduce the volume - is there a way? perhaps it cannot be done.
many thanks if you can help me.
