Can any one give any pros or cons for using DVDfab HD Decryptor for PSP? I am wanting to buy the program to back up my movies so I can watch them on my PSP. I know there are free versions out there but have been using DVDfab for a while now and would like to buy the full version.

I am very new to converting to PSP so I have a few questions. First is it at all possible to burn a movie onto a mini dvd and play it in a PSP? Or does the PSP use a different media then a mini dvd? Second if it is okay to do this what screen size and resolution would be the best? If I cant use mini dvd's and need to save them on my memory stick what screen size and res would work best for a small 1G card?

    Thanks,
    Robert

I'm sure you can't get recordable discs for the psp. That is not what sony is known for - user friendly RECORDING capability.

They are UMD - universal media discs. Not cdr. Even if a mini cd or dvd-r was the exact same size they are a different file structure from what I understand.

You could search the net for recordable umd media but I'm sure there is nothing out there. Even if there were you'd probably have to buy a special burner and its probably not worth it.

I think you should invest in a larger memory card for one. Try used on ebay or something. That would let you use a better bitrate.

Personally I haven't used dvdfab hd decrypter much to give an honest evaluation.

I do own corel dvd copy 6 (payware) and I like it. I use it for converting videos to my ZUNE. It has a psp setting as well - plus direct to memory card output - if I remember correctly - I don't have a psp so I haven't used that feature.

Personally I'd stick with something like super for converting. Its free and pretty versatile. But I can understand your desire for an "all in one" package.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
