i have a jvc everio gzhd6 camcorder, and i was wondering how i could lower the frames per second(fps) down, wether this is or can be done in camera, or on the computer, i don't know, but your help is much appreciated

Probably not in the camera, unless it has presets to other fps settings. You could re-encode with software and change it to what you want. Why do you want the change the frames per second? Slow motion effects? Time lapse?

thanks for the welcome, i want to lower the fps to make my clips more cinematic, the camera doesn't have any fps settings that i know of( can anyone help with that) and how would i " re-encode with software..."

If you are going to convert in post to 24p, shoot from a tripod and limit zooms and pans.

thanks, i wasn't sure about the fps and it looking cinematic, but i guess i was influenced by the propaganda :), but that clip disproves it i guess it was great, was it shot at a high fps rate? i did read the caption, and your response but im not sure i completely understand what you are saying, so i need to by a " depth of field adapter"?

Yeah, if you want it to look filmic. Do a search on "Letus Mini" or Jag35 or Brevis
