  1. Basically, foobar2000 is one of the best applications that's written for Windows and *can* run under WINE on LINUX. I'm looking for a LINUX-native audio player that has some of foobar's features including:

    -Music library interfact
    -Ability to buffer an entire file to memory (save HDD usage)
    -Ability to play mp3/ogg/flac/ape, etc.

    Never used foobar, but my favorite 2 audio players are gmusic browser, and the good 'ol xmms.

    This might be of some use for you
    Linux _is_ user-friendly. It is not ignorant-friendly and idiot-friendly.
