Hi Everyone,
I have just purchased an unopened (very old) Pinnacle Studio PCTV from a local charity shop. It says on the box for Win 95/98/NT4.0 Can I get this hardware and software to work on an XP sp2 operating system? The hardware IDE card is Version 1.0 and the software is version 3.50 Cheers

Hi Bendix G15,
yes I installed it on a Win 98se O/S . It installed OK, Studio working, although the TV is installed its not showing any shows just a blank screen. Does this system need to be activated with a code to activate the TV functions or does it go straight from the install? Cheers thanks.

I have one of those in a box somewhere. Never could get it to work well under Win98se or XP and wasted many hours trying.
Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

hI edDV,
Thinking the same thing myself, just thinking to use the capture device . Will probably buy new or 2nd hand ,USB or capture card to work on P4 XP sd2. If you have any suggestion of trouble free devices you could recommend , Im all ears. Cheers and thanks
