Snow codec playback

Recently I've converted a piece of a movie with the Snow codec using MeGUI. For conversion I've set up Snow like shown on the image. The conversion itself took a while. But now that I try to play the video all the players either crash or won't play it since they obviously cannot find the right codec for playback. Any suggestions?

For conversion I've used MeGUI v0.3.1.1006 with all the tools up to date. I also have ffdshow installed, rev. 2527 (19-Dec-2008), SSE build by clsid.

It looks like MPlayer or possibly VLC will be able to play it back. There is a thread over at Doom9 about the codec if no one here is knowledgeable about it: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=84593

Both, MPlayer and VLC, fail to play the file...
