I have dozens of VHS tapes that I want to transfer over to DVD. Now, I have a Canopus ADVC-300 converter device, that I am sure you know plugs into the computer and a VCR. Now, the question is... How good of a VCR does it have to be to obtain a good video capture? Does it matter, since I have this device? Or should I go with the JVC HR-S9911 VCR that I see being recommended extensively on the web as one of the best to do the job? Is this Canopus device that I have good? Are there better ones out there along this price range? Are there any of these devices that will make videos 1080p? Thanks!![]()
