    Hello;

    I'll be Thankfull if you guide me;
    In debian/ubuntu ,To stream camcorder video and audio on web (e.g:http://iport) is it better connect camcorder to PC via usb ?OR connect via TV capture card?
    TV capture card has "Bt878" chipset .should it's driver be installed ?
    By and large How can camcorder video & audio can be streamed on web ?

    Have you tried VLC Media Player? And you use the wizard mode to setup the streaming.

    Thanks Alot for you'r attention.
    Yes,But in The page that capture card should be selected what should be written ?( /dev/video0 ) ?
    Should not capture card driver be installed?
    When card capture is seletced /dev/video0 there is no video .
    How about audio ?
    in local pc how can video stream be shown ?

    but when another digital camera is connected to pc via usb vlc can capture it

    here is one BenQ digital camera and one canon camcorder .
    When benq is connected via usb too pc VLC can capture it .
    But when camcorder is connected via capture card to pc VLC can not open it .
    How can camcorder be streamed on web ?with which software ?
    whiche video device name should be selected for camcorder In vlc (video4linux tab) ?
    selecting /dev/video0 has not any result .
    for streaming should camcorder be captured first ?
