Question on Photo SlideShow

1) Is there any software can burn digital photo to VCD with "SPECIAL TRANSITION EFFECT" when photos are changing from one to another???

2) I have used a software to compile my digital photos with special transition effect when changing from one to another like rolling from left to right, right to left. etc and save the file to either .exe or .scr.
The question is I want to burn the file to VCD but unavailable. Is there any method to convert the .exe file to .dat or .mpeg???

Pls advice.

For question 1, yes two apps are available:
1. Freeware called SSMM available at
http://www.joern-thiemann.de/tools/ssmm/
2. Commercial software called Vegas Video 3 at
http://www.sonicfoundry.com

SSMM is free but VV3 is much more flexible and is a full-fledged
video productio app.

For question 2, I have no idea.

The only way that I've been able to convert Pictures to EXE slide shows to video is buy outputting to a camcorder from the video port on the video card. You have to do a lot of conversion to it (TMPGEnc), but it does work. The quality is so-so. Good luck!
