    I haven't done this in a few years, and I can't remember everything.

    I followed this guide: https://forum.videohelp.com/topic84759.html

    The file I am trying to convert is just under two hours, but TMPGenc says it's over 330 minutes, resulting in me forcing to try to encode it at a low 107 kbits/sec.

    I'm not sure what I did wrong. Any help is appreciated.

    vbr audio causes this problem. Try change the directshow show priority in tmpgenc or convert the audio to wav, www.videohelp.com/tmpgenc#problems
