    I ran out of space while capping something rather important, and thereby rendered the AVI unreadable by everything from Media Player to VirtualDub. Is there anyway to fix this file? I'd reallly like to be able to extract a specific (and rather brief) cluster of frames, at least. Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

    have you tried divxfix you can find it in the tools section and i've heard claims that it could help play incomplete avis

    Thanks s'much, but it didn't recognize the file as an AVI, either. Know of anything else that might help?
