I was wondering if someone can help me, I cant figure this out. Basically I have Two HDTVs, one connects to the Surround Sound via TOSLink Optical wire and HDMI while the other connects via Component/audio wires. However Im having the same problem with both these TVs regardless of how they are hooked up.
The Problem with TV 1 is my Xbox360 is hooked up with Component Video and RCA Audio cables and the surround sound wont play audio from it. The Problem with TV 2 is my Netflix player is hooked up the same way (Component/Audio RCA wires) and the surround sound doesnt play from it.
However, the surround sound WILL play anything pluged into the HDMI ports. On both TVs my Cable box audio plays fine with this setup, and on TV 1 my Blu Ray PS3 using HDMI plays through the surround sound with no issues.
Any thoughs on getting these those working? Its only setup like this because my surround sound has only 1 port for audio and i have several things in need of it playing audio.
