    i know to use the ifoedit to find if its ntsc or pal on a video_ts, but thats about it
    how can i find the region code and whter or not its a pal/ntsc
    for imgs/iso/ and video_ts

    I don't know of any programs that can inspect images this way. Perhaps others do. One way to do it would be to mount the image with Daemon Tools and then use something like DVD Decrypter to see if it has any region code on it. You could use IfoEdit or GSpot to see if the video is PAL or NTSC at that point. Backups should not normally have region codes on them unless the person who made the backup used something to deliberately set a region code. That's possible, but I don't know why someone would do that.

    If you want to inspect region code in dvd folder, PGCEdit can view or edit it (DVD -> Region code).

    if it's a backup burned to disc, or ripped to your PC, 9939% it's NOT region coded!!

    You can open the disc in DVD Decrypter and it will tell you what the region code is & if it's PAL or NTSC by looking at the reported resolution and framerate.

    If it is an image mount it to a virtual drive and again, use DVD Decrypter.

    If you already know how to tell with ifoedit from the video_ts folder..... why are you asking how to tell from a video_ts folder 8)

    i cant seem to figure out how to find out if its ntsc/pal with dvd decrypter,
    can anyone tell me how, i searched but only finding info that im not looking for

    i can find out if its pal/ntsc on video_ts wit ifoedit, but thats it, i cant the region code with ifoedit
    or use ifoedit on img/iso files

    so basically this is what i want to know
    video_ts - how to find the region code (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8)?
    iso/img - how to find out if its ntsc/pal?

    i have dvd shrink, ifoedit, dvddecryptor, pgcedit
