    how can i install a different language pack on my pc so i can switch between typing in English and Russian? i used to have it i would just press alt and shift and it would switch into a different language

    Start->Control Panel->Regional Language Options->Languages Tab->Details->Add. Select the language from the dropdown. You can also Google "IME" for more info.
