I recently bought a SVCD, and I thought I'd be able to play it on my computer, but it's not working.

I installed CVS Cinema21, Sasami, and even made sure I have the scsi1hlp.vxd thing. I've tried everything I know, so now I need your help. There are 4 folders on the disk: Ext, Mpeg2, Segment, and Svcd.

I've tried just hitting play on the different programs, but it does nothing. I've tried opening just the Mpeg2, still nothing.

Any suggestions? Am I missing something?

    Any help greatly appreciated!!!!

    Update...

I downloaded the trial version of WinDVD, and it worked!!

So now I at least know something will work, but it only lets me view 5 minutes of the disk.

Any suggestions on how I get the other programs to play the disks for me?

    Good news!!

I downloaded Hero DVD 2.0 and it works!!

The quality doesn't seem to be as good as WinDVD, but at least it works. Thanks to the person who posted it on these boards, you're a lifesaver!

Can anyone tell me why Hero would work, but the others I tried wouldn't?
