Hi!
I would like to buy a graphic card (wich is good for gaming) but also have VIDEO IN because i would like to capture VHS.. Is there any good cards with a good price(student with little money)....Any tips is welcome!!!

the choice are :
cheap video in card : ( avi specific stream , to convert)
time comnsuming , medium result
60$ good for litlle capture .
medium vid.in : better avi standard , sometime mpeg1 encoding
(software) wich is useless if you want really
90$ good result .
high- vid,in : (wich i own )ATi-aIw-radeon32, excellent Avi
capture ( depend on MMC) , good mpeg2
150$ cpu encoding , time saving
best vid,in : harware mpeg encoding , (dont know very much)
time saving , very good result ?
250$++ ATi-Aiw-radeon8500 (no hardware )
dazzle holywood ( hardware ? )
so it depend on your time available for file conversion and your
skill to find freeware and "tunning " your system
