    Hi everyone,

First of all, I'm sorry if this has been answered somewhere else, because I've searched and searched and couldn't find an answer to my question.

I just want to know if there is any simple way for Ripping/Extracting the subtitles from Blue-Ray disks?

I have been using VobSub for this job on DVD's, but I don't know what to do with Blue-Ray's.

I would really appreciate it if someone could give me a hand here.

Use tsmuxer. And if you want to convert to text then use suprip.

    Thanks for your reply Baldrick,

I've used tsmuxer successfully to generate .SUP file and then used SUPread to export the resulting .SUP file so that I can open it with Subtitle Creator (Hence: I only want .idx/.sub file, since I can't OCR the subtitle as it is an eastern language). But Subtitle Creator keep giving me error messages whenever I'm trying to open the .SUP file.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi,

    1. Open SUPRead version 0.52b2
    2. Under options select "Stream Exp." as HD DVD

Then export you blu-ray sup to hd-dvd sup that SubtitleCreator can open.

    Cheers
