    my dad sent me his data drive to try and recover anything i can. it's a deathstar dtla-307045 from 2000, 45gb. it had to be the last of it's kind still working everyday. all the ones i used died in horrible ways within 2 years. anyway, if anyone knows of or has one i can cannibalize for parts pm/email me and i'll get you the money to send it to me. he really wants his 8 years of data back if possible. thanks.....
