    I bought this samsung player, its now coded for europe Area 2 - now I want to be able to see Blu-rays from the USA, How I have searched the net all day yesterday.

    You can't make it region free, your best option will be to buy Blu Rays that are not region coded, this site...

    There are ZERO region hacks for BluRay discs. A few BluRay players sold outside of North America can be made region free for DVD playback, but not BluRay playback.

    Unfortunately you didn't know this, but you made a very bad decision to buy a Samsung player. It seems from the posts we get there that Samsung has made hardware changes on all of their players sold everywhere and they no longer can be hacked. Samsung makes fantastic TVs and some of their other products are very good, but I can't at this time recommend any of their DVD or BluRay players to anybody interested in playing discs from other regions.

    Most Blu-Ray discs aren't currently region coded anyway...at least last I checked.
