I'm not sure how to remove this Baidubar virus, I tried AVG, Spybot and Adaware but didn't work. Anything FREE that can remove this?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

GKar,
The spywareremove is NOT FREE. IS the only way to remove the baidu bar with that? Malewarebytes did not find anything either. -
are you using internet explorer 7? if so, go to tools and manage add-ons and enable or disable add-ons and look for it there. If you find it you should be able to select it and delete it.

Hello jyeh74;
Eset shows that virus in their database, so I assume this
http://www.eset.eu/eos/eset-online-scanner
will be effective. No guarantees of course.
It's free and easy to use. Give it a try.
This is most probably a self-replicating virus, so you need to first;
-download/update the Eset scanner/scan and quarantine anything detected as malware.
-Then-
-turn off system restore.
-Then-
-reboot into the safe mode.
-Then-
-run the Eset scanner again.
If the virus (or any other malware) is found, quarantine it.
-Then-
-reboot into the normal operating mode, turn system restore back on, run a third scan to assure that the virus did not replicate.
If your computer checks clean following the third scan, reboot again to normal mode.
System restore should have a new restore point and your computer should be clean.
If the Eset scanner fails to detect or remove the virus, try A-Squared free and use the deep scan mode following database update. Again, best results will be obtained scanning in safe mode with system restore disabled.
Good luck !THREADKILLER !

Boot into safe mode and install it. Let it download an update.
Boot into safe mode again, start NOD32 and after that click on NOD32 button and click on "In-depth analysis". It should get you rid off of all malicious software you got on your machine.
You will have a fully functional NOD32 for a trial period of 30 days.
I recommend it and suggest that you consider to buy it after that period.
