I'm using Sony Vegas Pro 8. I've been experimenting on my own with not much luck.
I'm wondering if there's a plug-in or combination of videoFX's that can even out or clear up bad skin tone in video, such as blochiness or ruddyness?
The problem can be fixed with lowering the saturation, but of course that runs the rest of the color in the video.

You can also clean some of it with a smoothing filter, although it can cost you fine details.
Have a look at Mike Crash's filters (free) for Vegas. He has a smart smoother that tries to keep details while smoothing larger areas. Might help
