AVI to AMV

I have a AVI to AMV converter for my nieces MP3 player - however its crap the audio is always out of sync and doesnt allow for 4:3 so that the letterboxed 16:9 AVI file can be magnified to fill the screen - the screen is 2 inches therefore letterboxed widescreens are just unwatchable

I have a movie for her she would like to be able to lie in bed and watch it or wherever she goes

can anyone help?

I had the same problems and tried a few diff. converters.

Now i use MPxConverter, works great every time.

thanks great prog BUT upon conversion the player plays the 1st second then says FORMAT ERROR and it wont play on the pc AMV player that comes with players CD? any ideas?

Ya know, actually i have never been able to get any of them to play on my pc, but they have always played fine on my cheapie portable MP3/VIDEO player....

Why i don't know, i gave up trying to figure it out.
I actually tried several diff. AMV players on the pc with the same results.
