    When I save out to mpeg2 from sony vegas I get horizontal lines. Not to bad but if I could get rid then picture would be perfect.

    Anny wise members know ?

    I have used the b & w filter on the footage and saved to mpeg2.

    Do you see the prob?

    That looks like interlacing artifacts. Notice that the horizontal lines only seem to appear on moving objects. If you play it back on a TV, it should look normal. Or try using a software player that can properly display interlaced material, such as VLC or MPC and choose a deinterlacing filter. Interlaced video would be the normal format for TV, if that's what your final display is going to be.

  6. Use a player that deinterlaces on-the-fly.

    It will be playing through DVD software on a mac. Not sure which player it is. Allpretty standard stuff I should think.
