I have a powerpoint presentation and a video file from the real presentation. I want put the powerpoint slides into the video file. I tried to do this with Windows Movie Maker but it is almost impossible, because I don't want to split the audio when the relevant powerpoint slide is visualised.

Which software is the easiest way to combine powerpoint slides and video file?

If you use Camstudio to screen capture your presentation, you can add the avi file to your movie.

If you export certain slides, without their animation or effects, as a jpg, you can import the jpg into movie maker.

I manage to export the slides to jpg, which OK.

I want to put the jpg files, but I don't want to stop the audio (while the presenter talks about a certain slide I want to show the relevant jpg image).

  4. My solution has been to use the jpgs as menus and put menu buttons on each slide to let the presenter click through the slides.

Camstudio works great but the presenter has no control over how long the slides are on the screen. (The person capturing it decides how much per slide) If that is how you want to go, it is a good program.

You have to use Camstudio if you want to include the animation in the slides.
