    Just import them into Elements. It should work.

    If it works, you can skip Virtualdub.

    I imported the audio and video pieces into Elements and then exported them to an mpeg. It got to 99.99% complete, and now is just sitting there. I guess Ill wait a bit. Is there a better way to join the audio and video clips?

    I don't know about the 99.9% but so long as you don't get lip sync issues, separate audio is fine.

  4. Just something that has not been mentioned, but the OP is aware that most DVD players will require the MPG format, and files converted to DV-AVI will have to be encoded again to MPG?

    Unless your DVD player plays Xvid (also an AVI), but these would have to be encoded a second time, as well.

    Also, weren't the Sony VOB files somewhat non-standard, such that some programs had issues with them?
