    I just purchased a jvc video camera with a hard disc , I have copied the videos to my pc , I want to put the vids on a DVD disc , but also want to edit them .
    The file type is .MOD I have never heard of this file before .
    I tryed tmpgenc but it wont except the file , I want to join a few videos together and remove audio from others and replace with music , I have done this before with tmpgenc and worked well .
    Any help would be great

    You could try changing the file extension from .mod to .mpg. Otherwise you may have to install the software that came with the camera.
