I recently purchased the new Panasonic Blue-Ray Player BD-35. No complaints at all.
This player has an SD slot so that it can be used to play Jpeg slide shows. I am trying to determine if it will play any other video file format files. According to the maunual if using a 4gb+ SDHC memory card it will play AVCHD format.
Unfortunatly this model does not play Divx (its big brother the BD-55 does).
Does anyone know if this player will play mpg or other video file types off of a SD card?
What does it take to convert a Divx file to AVCHD? Does it even make sense to try.
The reason for these questions is I have some videos in Divx format that I would like to watch on my HDTV.
Thanks

I don't know what it will play, but if you have a SD card, make up a real short DIVX and just a short vob from a DVD and give them a try. I have a PS3 and it will play mpgs, vobs and DVIX even though it doesn't say it will play all of these in the manual.
