    I used dvd shrink to save a movie, opened the vob files in VideoRedo Plus and then saved them as an .mpg with the ac3 audio converted to wav. Then I opened the mpg files in Studio 11 and there are missing sections inbetween each mpg file. About 1 second is missing inbetween each file.

    What can I do to prevent this?

    mpeg-2 has gops. unless you cut on a I frame there will be missing pieces.

    use shrink to extract movie only with just the one audio you want. then use vob2mpeg to join and convert all those vobs into 1 mpg.
